progress.
I focus on developing evidence-based policies on the contribution of science, technology, and industry to well-being and sustainable growth. My activities cover a broad range of topics, including industry and globalization, innovation and entrepreneurship, scientific R&D, and emerging technologies.
As the world becomes increasingly interdependent yet decentralized, good governance is imperative to effectively address transnational socio-economic issues. The inherent conflict of national and global competition put innovation policies exclusively at the service of economic growth. Consequently, sociotechnical practices can be abused to invade privacy, provide new tools of discrimination, and harm individuals and communities.
My work aims at understanding these challenges by providing broad coverage, analysis, and investigations on the geopolitics and science policy at the national, regional, and global levels. Exordium newsletter is a pseudo-side gig where I publish curated stuff and engage with experts as I make progress on various R&D projects. Exordium subscribers include foreign affairs specialists, diplomats, academics, innovators, bankers, R&D experts, journalists, and students.
